God Has Called

It is with regret, that all hope has passed.
Adam Bluestone passed away around 10:00 PM September 6th, 2007. We all want to do more than we can possibly do and we ask ourselves what should I do? Adam has touched so many lives and more people than any of us will know. The compassion and love for what he has done will always influence our lives and decisions we make. The person he was and what he developed is monumental. His work was a dream that came true and touched so many lives. We should continue in all of our daily activities how Adam has shown us and would expect us to continue. More information will be posted as soon as it is made available.

We did not know personally know the Bluestone family but came to know Adam and Zack through his work with our son Zackary. We have never met anyone with so much drive and determination to help those who needed it the most. He seemed to live life to the fullest every minute of every day. We are extremely shocked and saddened to hear about his passing but want his family to know that his legacy, life lessons and social stories will live on in the children he touched through his work. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him and our prayers are with his family and all of those who may not have had the chance. We were truly lucky to have known him.

I was fortunate to have known Adam for a short time while training with him for our school district's autism program. What an amazing person that will leave his light and love with so many people. I am truly blessed to have known him.

My thoughts and empathy to his wife and boys, as well as other relatives.

I am devasted at the loss of this great spirit. My heart goes out to his family. Adam touched me and my family forever with his wonderful spirit, compassion, knowledge, and his willingness to help anyone who extended their hand to him. I know his motivation and teachings has made a better future for my son Joey who has severe autism. We are so blessed that Adam touched our lives and I thank God for sending such an angel to us. I suppose Adam that you exceeded God's expectations! Rest now my friend. You have earned it. God speed and we will miss you.

We were blessed to have had Adam's assistance in running our class for the past two years. Adam was always so full of energy and the boys' faces lit up when they saw him and many of them ran to hug him. No matter what the situation was, Adam always tried to find a solution to help us.
Although there is still so much to do in here, we here in room 6,will work hard to continue on with what Adam has taught us over the years so that Adam can, proudly, look down upon us and the boys and know that he made a difference.

I received a call this morning with the news and I am deeply sorry for your loss. The world has lost a great man. He will be greatly missed. He found great gratitude in helping the kids and families he worked with and even those that he didn't. He was very committed to his job and to his family. Angie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys. Zach, Frankie sends his prayers and love to you as you are one of his dearest friends. David, we all love you. Stay strong and remember God is with you through every walk in your life. We're always here if you need anything.

I HAVE KNOWN ADAM THE PAST 16 YEARS AND HAVE ENJOYED WATCHING OUR CHILDREN PLAY SOCCER IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS , WE JUST JOKED ABOUT HOW OLD WE ARE GETTING AND WE COULD KICK OVER ANYTIME WITH ADAMS SMILE OF AS BRIGHT AS THE SUN AND A TRUE HUG AROUND YOUR NECK , EVEN GOT A KISS FROM HIM ON MY BALD HEAD . ADAM CAN NEVER BE REPLACED BY ANY MAN . I JUST HEARD THE NEWS AND I FEEL AS I WERE JUST HIT IN THE CHEST WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER. THIS IS CRUSHING TO ME AS IM SURE IT IS TO EVERY PERSON HE HAS EVER SAID HELLO TO. ADAM WAS SUCH A GENUINE KIND MAN WITH SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE , THE WORLD JUST LOST ONE OF THE MEN I HAVE LOOKED UP TO AND RESPECTED WITH THE HIGHEST REGARDS I COULD FOR A MAN. FROM HIS WORK TO HIS PLAY , ADAM WAS A MAN THROUGH AND THROUGH . I TRULY LOVED THIS MAN AND WILL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY. WHAT I WOULD GIVE JUST TO SAY "WHATTUUUUUP" AGAIN AND RECEIVE ONE OF HIS HUGS. I FEEL SPEECHLESS BUT LIKE COULD BABBLE ON ABOUT THIS GREAT GREAT MAN FOREVER. I WISH HE HE WAS READING THIS RIGHT NOW SO I COULD JUST SAY " ADAM , I LOVE YOU MAN". ANGIE WE ALL KNOW YOU WILL DO THE BEST WITH THE KIDS , AND AT LEAST THEY WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO SAY ADAM IS THEIR FATHER , WHAT AN HONOR FOR THOSE CHILDREN TO HAVE ADAM BE THEIR FATHER. IM OUT OF WORDS . I LOVE YOU ADAM

The world has lost a truly unique individual. I know I share the sadness of many people who knew Adam. I haven't seen Adam in a few years, but I remember when he first came to Rafer Johnson. He was simply a ray of sunshine on that campus! Just an exceptional human being. Angie, I wish you and your boys strength in the coming days. My prayers are with you, Susan Pishinsky

Our loss is tremendous;God took him too early, but Adam's legacy will live on. Adam inspired us and gave us such belief in miracles! His charisma fired up everyone he met. Thanks Adam for a full life dedicated to our kids. Thank you for believing in our children's potential and in their possibilities. You opened windows of hope. Keep the good work up there please.
Our prayers and thoughts are with Angie and the boys who he loved with such total passion.Be not afraid...Adam is still loving and caring for all of us.

It has been too long since I have seen Adam, but always thought of him on my way out to the drop zone-hoping to see his smiling face. I did my very first jump w/Adam (and many more)- an experience I will never forget.. The world was a much better place w/him in it. No words can describe him and I feel lucky to have known him... Angie, you, your boys, and your family are in my prayers.. I am so sorry for your loss.

Blue skies forever Adam..
Much love,
Renate

Adam is gone. Words that do not make sense when I think of the essence that was Adam. I first met Adam and Angie at a PECS training years ago. What a dynamic, amazing couple. Years later, I had the priviledge of working with Adam with the autistic kids in our district. Adam was the most amazing and talented man I have ever worked with. His love and passion for the kids, because it was all about the kids, was truly inspiring. Adam inspired the best in all of us. He is a unique, one of a kind man that the world will forever miss. His energy could fill a room. God and all of his angels are rejoicing in Heaven as Adam has been lifted up from his broken body. He was called home to God to soon for all that knew him. My prayers are with Angie and the boys and their families. If they need anything, we are here, a phone call away.
